Of course the first clip was at Burnham Corinthian. It takes me back to my early days having a pair of daps, shorts, a plastic jacket and a Mae West! No wonder Keith Musto started a proper sailing clothing company! But we were tough in those days - no wet suits in winter. Read Steavenson's book about sailing in the 50s in winter on Tyneside, still with shorts! Spot the hi-tech gear when the Enterprise is rigged. Thankfully we've come a long way from then
