I'm no great fan of the transom bridle type sheeting system on my Hoare boat. I'd prefer a centre hoop but it doesn't look too easy to do, especially with the double floor. Has anyone else put a hoop on a Hoare or Speed boat?

I think a hoop may be a bit over the top - consider a bridle, which is basically a couple of e.g. Dyneema strops across the boat to which is attached a block and becket. Couple that with two blocks on the boom and you're where you want to be. There's an easy way to make the bridle adjustable for height too.
