Hi

Well due to the fleet numbers now toping 6 active boats at Maldon we have the Return of the MUD MEN. And on the weekend of the 2nd 3rd October we are holding an open event.

We hope to holding 2 races per day back  to back starts to be from the club line and committee boat.

Camping is free and onsite Saturday nights meal will that of a Curry night and the bar will be well stocked.

Please help to support this event as it will be the first Hornet event which has been held At the club for some years.

Hi guys and gals

Well given that it is only a month away till the Maldon open

And yes Stone is sooner I know.

Just some things to let you know, we will be opening up on Friday night

For those who would like to travel at that time ( camping is free by the way)

Entry fee is to be 10. for the weekends fun on the water And the Saturday night meal is to be curry & rice with some side dishes this will be 5 per head.

I would like to know sometime in advance how many would like the evening

meal as I have to prepare the food and would like to know how much to get in.

Sunday Morning I have been told that we will be laying on breakfast

(Think this means I will be back in the kitchen again)

Link to the directions page on the club site =  http://www.aocd56.dsl.pipex.com/maldon/map.htm

Usual just look for the Hornet at the junctions if you have never been this way before.

looking forward to seeing you all there
