Hi all, does anyone have any info on setting up a Needlespar mast. I am rebuilding 2038 fitted with one, and what I can only describe as a most unusual group of settings.

For instance, the leach of the genoa foul the spreaders, and the mast is totally upright. Yet apparently this was a very quick boat.

I am currently trying to adapt so as to roughly match the tuning guide, although the masts are very different.

Any advice appreciated

Mike, don't worry, by the time the niddlestick has bent its usual 15 inches at the spreaders the genoa leech will be miles away!
The more I try the harder it gets!
