The technical forum should be used to discuss technical topics such as boat tuning.

How about putting the current class rules on the website somewhere, not to mention a bit of the history of the boat - I'm even struggling to find the PYrating!

Hi

The class rules can be found at

http://www.rya.org.uk/KnowledgeBase/technical/classrules.htm - http://www.rya.org.uk/KnowledgeBase/technical/classrules.htm

There is a link on this site- Main menue, click on + Boat, but the RYA have just revamped their website so the link may not be working - use the above. We do not post them directly on this site to avoid any updating conflict.

The PY is reviewed every year by the RYA. You may find it on the RYAsite but they seem to be more secretive about them these days ie you may have to buy the relevent publication, they have to make money somehow so they can keep their medalists in the fashion they have become accustomed.

Thanks to both of you - yep, I found the PY rating - quite quick aren't they these hornets!.

Now, I have bigger problems as Harry Ashworth can vouch for - a MAJOR rebuild before a weekend in Newquay at the end of June. Harry, the good news - it is salvageable - just.  having bought the boat on Ebay, am curently bidding on a kite to go with it, in the lead as I write at 21.00.

Watch this space - 1051 may re-appear yet!
