We need a firm indication from boats intending to enter please. A vibe suggests a low turnout, who IS going??

I have entered, if you are going ( and if you know a club-mate is) let us know by this forum, urgently please.

Hi Harry,

Lewis and I will be there although we haven't made any arrangements.

Simon W & Simon E will not be attending, neither will Dean & Rob, both MYC.

Caroline & I won't be there as it is Stone Week. Dave & Fran are going. Ray and Jan will not be there. As for the other three boats at Stone , I have not heard any rumours.

Unfortunately it looks unlikely that Dan and I will be able to attend due to
other commitments. If we go it is likely to be last minute. Would have liked
to have sailed at Abersoch though

Mark - you'll have to get the Sting back from Tim first!

2144 will be there, but nothing booked yet. First tentative sail on Sunday went well though.....

I also know that Malcolm is in the process of selling on both Biffa and his Devon Composite boat and has pretty much retired from dinghys therefore will also not be attending.

Don't panic Harry - I think the forum membership only accounts for a small proportion of those who would come to the champs. Correct me if I'm wrong....

Don't forget that the entry fee for the champs goes up to 175 per boat if paid after the 30th of June, so get your entries in.

Harry, I understand your frustration. I am disapointed that noboby has indicated their intent to attend our open or not. I think it's called politeness.

Whats happening?

there seems to be alot of rumours flying around suggesting the champs are going to be cancelled any day now???????

Date Posted: 10 June 2009 at 16:45

The answer is "not a lot". I wish members would communicate with me, it's not difficult and I'm accessible by all the usual media. The truth is that only myself and Kevin have actually entered! My accomodation is paid for, so thanks a lot guys if we do have to cancel.
