Hi guys and girls

I am a new Hornet owner and am struggling with the rigging set-up - any suggestions/pics/info would be gratefully appreciated

My first problem is that the mast doesn't seem to sit in the gate  properly......and after that I am faced with a taglietelli of ropes and sheets!

Hi Charlotte,

Congratulations on buying a Hornet!

The layout and rigging can be quite different from boat to boat so a bit more information might be useful

As a starting point do you know much about your particular boat: sail number, builder, age (any of these will give us a clue). Best of all could you send some pictures (email to [email protected])

Tom

Hi Tom

The boat number is 1951 - wooden hull and fairly old I guess!

I will send some pics across to you later in the week if that's ok, but anything you can suggest will be welcome........

Thank you!

Charlotte
